Research help
Quick guides to get the most out of MuslimAncestry.
- Getting started — Home has a “Your next steps” checklist: add yourself, add parents, search records, invite family.
- Search tips — Use Search: wildcards, year ranges, and start broad (surname + country) then narrow.
- Record types — Archives explains census, BMD, church, immigration, military. Use “How to use the archives” there.
- 19th century — 19th Century offers decade filters and popular collections (census, civil registration, immigration).
- Cite your sources — Attach verified records to your tree for a solid paper trail. Use the “View hints” and “Invite family” actions on your Family Tree page.
