Marketplace Risk & Platform Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026. This policy supplements our Terms, Seller Agreement, and Disclaimers.
We are a listing platform — not a broker or dealer
Gtrado, Inc. provides online listing, messaging, and (where enabled) payment tools that connect independent buyers and sellers. We are not a party to the underlying sale of goods or property except where a written agreement expressly says otherwise. We are not a licensed real-estate broker, motor-vehicle dealer, auctioneer-of-record, escrow agent, title insurer, or closing attorney.
Seller mistakes are the seller’s responsibility
Buyers and sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, condition disclosures, delivery, title transfer, and legal compliance. Gtrado, Inc. is not liable for another user’s misrepresentation, omission, fraud, or failure to perform. Published dispute or return tools may help mediate eligible standard-commerce claims; they do not convert us into a guarantor of seller performance.
No holding buyer funds for high-ticket / vehicles / real estate
- Vehicles, real estate, and any item priced at or above $2,500 must use a third-party escrow or licensed title/closing partner chosen by the parties.
- We do not accept, hold, or custody buyer purchase funds for those transactions through our checkout.
- Standard lower-ticket shop checkout (where enabled) uses payment processors (e.g. Stripe). Processor settlement and any seller payout reserves for ordinary shop goods are separate from high-ticket escrow rules and do not authorize us to hold vehicle/RE earnest money.
Vehicles (Gtrado)
- Verified sellers only — vehicle listings require an approved, verified seller account.
- Required disclosures — VIN, title status (clean / salvage / rebuilt / lien / other), and listing photos are mandatory.
- We are not a motor vehicle dealer. Title transfer is between buyer, seller, and DMV / title partners.
Real estate (Gtrado)
- Verified sellers / licensed agents only for property listings.
- Agent vs owner disclosure is required on every listing.
- We are not a real-estate broker. Earnest money and closing funds go to a licensed title company or closing attorney — never to us.
Jewelry, mobiles, electronics & grocery
- Authenticity, grade, IMEI/unlock status, functionality, dating, and food safety are the seller’s responsibility.
- Buyers should inspect promptly and use published return windows where they apply.
- Perishable grocery may have limited or no returns.
As-is & independent verification
Unless a listing or written addendum expressly provides a warranty from the seller, goods are offered as described by the seller. Buyers should obtain independent inspections, appraisals, Carfax/title checks, surveys, and professional advice before closing high-value deals.
