How manufacturing fits together
- Assay / identify metal and plan alloy (purity).
- Melt & mill or fabricate stock (sheet, wire).
- Shape the piece (saw, forge, form, solder).
- Set stones if applicable.
- Mark (letters, hallmarks, logos).
- Finish (polish, oxidize optional, final QC).
