Stamped letters (hand stamps)
- Use hardened stamps and a heavy hammer on a solid bench block.
- Layout with scribe or template; strike once with controlled force (practice on copper/brass first).
Hand engraving / bright cutting
- Sharpened gravers, lubrication, magnification, and steady ball vise.
- Script and spacing take repetition — plan line direction before cutting.
Machine options
Pantograph / laser marking (commercial) for repeat production — follow manufacturer training.
